Writing for the web

When writing content for your website try to follow these steps:

Highlight keywords and use meaningful subheads

Most people reading content on the web really are not reading, they tend to scan the page for what they are looking for. Don't make the user look too hard for there answers or they will go elsewhere.

Use bullted lists

When you have items you want to list make sure you bullet them. They tend to:

One idea per paragrah

Remember speed is key on the web. Users will skip an over any additional ideas if they are not caught in the first few words of the paragraph.

Less is more!

Whatever you think the word count should be cut it in half.
